What it is and what it could become.
Internet radio stations are increasingly common. There are over 40,000 listed in Radio Garden. There are many more analogue radio stations around the world yet to have an internet presence.
However the format and possibilities inherent in an internet enabled local radio station have yet to be explored fully. An internet enabled radio station has both local and global reach. It is also possible to explore connections to other stations around the world.
FEAST looks to create new forms of programming, and to facilitate co-productions that make the most out of the possibilities inherent in this new globally enabled platform, which is at the same time firmly routed in the local context.
